We are planning to camp out at the farm Friday - Sunday after Thanksgiving. Hopefully weather will permit. We heard the burn ban has been lifted due to the recent rainfall so as long as it isn't below freezing we are in! We just can't get enough of being there and didn't want to leave the last time. We'll keep you updated on the plans and would love to find out if anyone else wants to brave the cold with us. I'm sure a serious bon fire will make us warm and toasty.

 After much consideration we have decided it is better to have a nicer barn than to invest in a camper for our weekend outings to QberryFarms. And so the decision is made to begin immediately planning for the construction of our barn and use it as shelter during our outings to the land.

We are land owners in Floyd and Carroll counties (the county line divides the property). We closed on the properly Thursday and drove straight to the farm to start camping. We spent the first night alone and were joined by family and friends quickly afterwards.

We have picked a date and are packing up most everything we own along with lots of friends and family and are going camping on our new land at Mira Mountain October 12th and 13th. Bring your tent, sleeping bag and propane heater!
