Many of our customers have noticed that we are discontinuing sales of delta 8 THC products and have some questions.  First of all why are we doing this? Well, many states including our own Virginia have become more hostile towards delta 8 THC products.  There are many reasons for this but it comes down to pure politics and the pharmaceutical industry not being very happy about our little workaround that takes money out of their pockets.  And, to be fair it was generally a legal workaround that allows us to sell Delta 8 products.  Governments are now specifically writing laws to outlaw delta 8 in several states. Largely the concern has been due to less than scrupulous sellers who market their products to children by using cartoon characters, etc on their packaging and in some cases even knocking off brand name candies like nerds and chips ahoy, etc.  We have always agreed that some regulation is needed here, but instead the whole industry gets hurt by politicians accepting donations from pharmaceutical companies and then blindly passing whatever bill is handed to them by these companies.  Sounds conspiratorial I know, but there are many verifiable cases of this happening as it has in Virginia. 

So, we have determined it's best to phase out all of our Delta 8 products and where legally possible replace them with Delta 9 THC products.  How could we do this legally you may ask?  Well, it's federally legal to sell hemp products that contain less than .3% Delta 9 THC as long as the THC is extracted from hemp.  Therefore we have the ability "currently" of selling products that meet this stipulation.  Due to this we have the ability to design products such as gummies that have enough weight/mass to THC that make them legal.  For example our new Delta 9 THC gummies are 10mg of Delta 9 THC each.  

Your first question may be "how does a 10mg d9 gummy compare to a 50mg delta 8 gummy?"  Well, very favorably actually!  Delta 9 THC is about 5 times more potent than Delta 8 THC so the effects are pretty indistinguishable.  However, we have chosen to have the additiona expense of using nano-isolated THC in our gummies.  This means the THC is in its smallest possible form and made to completely dissolve into the gummies.  This make the THC more readily available to your bloodstream and therefore less is lost in digestion and the effects appear faster.  Again, all of our Delta 9 THC is extracted from hemp plants in order to ensure legality and we ship to all 50 states, but be very careful you know the laws in your area!
